how is the real estate market in Mexico? we hear all kinds of stories here about the gobernment's activities and extreme danger even crossing the border! Are investors really buying over there? I don't mean it to be in wrong way but is it really guarantees or incentives for investors to put money down there? just curious...

Yes the government is in an all out battle with the drug cartels to keep this country moving forward as a developed nation as Mexico now has the 12 largest economy in the world. Now, the danger from the drug cartels fighting each other and the government forces has been for the most part away from the general public and primarily in the major border cities. Smaller cities like Puerto Penasco that are away from the border are not experiencing drug cartel activity.
The government is not providing investors incentives but like in the US, the sellers are providing great prices which is acting as incentives for buyers. Investors are buying the great deals the market is offering right now.
Yes it is safe and yes the investors are buying.
